Discussion: Start with this level of complexity to discover if other stakeholders have been neglected, understand the domain under analysis, and uncover any issues related to the analysis and design alternatives. SD models are relatively less complex than SR models. Therefore, this guideline could be optional and useful for students and beginners. Advanced users, however, might start with an SR model first then collapse the actors to form an SD model. Not all i* notation tools, however, can facilitate automatic collapsing for the Actors.
