9.1.5 Concept Use
The concepts described in the above sections can be put to use when building or analyzing a model by asking a series of questions. For each goal in the model, does the actor who owns this goal have the ability to achieve this goal? Does the routine which achieves this goal rely on other actors (are there dependencies)? Is there more than one routine? Are these routines workable? Are these routines viable? If not, are there other routines or design options which the actors have the ability to achieve, and are these routines workable and viable? Finally, is the model believable? What underlying assumptions have been used in the creation of the model? Are they reasonable? The modeling process should end when the model is believable and one or more viable solutions have been found.Return to the stable version of this page
